Service Learning: Connect / Involve / Reflect - Prüfungsnummer 9958367

During service learning projects students connect with local political, social or ecological initiatives working in the areas of interculturality and migration, environment or sports. By working in social projects, they get involved in various German non-profit organisations, learn new working areas and improve their soft skills.

Parallel to their civic engagement, they explore theoretical approaches, attend workshops and during reflection-session they reflect their volunteer experiences (e.g. by analysing the challenging situations during the volunteer work). In the final session, the students will present the results of their volunteer work in the organisation and discuss a key question from the field of civic engagement.
