Integration Bee - Prüfungsnummer 9958428

The Integration Bee was started at MIT in 1981 as an integral calculus competition. Nowadays Integration Bees take place at over forty universities worldwide.

In this course, we will calculate the problems of the MIT Integration Bee qualification rounds of the last years. Most of the problems can be solved with help of a limited set of special techniques. These techniques will be widely explained and applied.

At the end of the course, it should be easy to calculate

\[ \int \cos(\arctan(x)) \, dx \]

without paper and pencil.
