Introduction to Programming in Python - Prüfungsnummer 9958305S

This course provides an introduction to programming using Python. Python is currently one of the most popular programming languages as it is beginner-friendly, free accessibility and versatile. It is widely used by engineers and scientist, especially with the increasing popularity of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

This course covers the foundational concepts of procedural programming including variables, expressions, statements, functions, data types, basis data structures (lists and arrays), and control structures. After completing the course successfully, the students will able to implement basic algorithms and functions, and visualize the outputs effectively.

This course is designed for students with little or no prior programming experience.

This course will be taught entirely in English.

This course follows an“inverted classroom”approach. The course materials (textbooks, videos, and code examples) and exercises are studied individually as homework. The weekly meeting will be dedicated to answering question and discussing the solutions of the exercises.
