Festkolloquium-celebration: 10 years of mathematics studies in Schweinfurt

For 10 years, students have been able to study mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. An excellent reason to celebrate – with exiting talks and presentations around mathematics.

Since 2012, the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt has been offering the study degree programme Industrial Mathematics in Schweinfurt. Since then, numerous students have completed this degree, which is a unique combination of mathematics, technology and computer science. In order to celebrate this anniversary, we will hold a celebratory colloquium on the topic of mathematics. There will be fascinating talks by mathematicians from industry and research. Our students will present their projects. If you are keen, you can also try to beat our AI-based chess robot. Afterwards, there will be an informal get-together.

All people interested are invited! Admission is free of charge.
