Master's degree programme Applied Mathematics and Physics
This Master’s programme is offered in cooperation with Nuremberg Tech (Technische Hochschule Nürnberg).
As a post-graduate programme, its contents are based on the Bachelor’s programme Applied Mathematics and Physics at Nuremberg Tech and the Bachelor’s programme Industrial Mathematics at FHWS.
The programme provides advanced scientific knowledge in both applied mathematics and physics with the aim of using mathematical models and simulations to illustrate questions from physics, technology and applied natural sciences. A special focus is placed on the processes of model building, and the analytical and numerical solution of the resulting mathematical problems.
