The Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences and Humanities ...

... is represented at FHWS locations in Würzburg and in Schweinfurt. It provides training in the basic mathematical and scientific subjects in all degree programmes, and modules in applied computer science and foreign languages. In the degree programme Media Management, our Faculty covers the areas of journalism and media history.

The Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences and Humanities is also responsible for the Bachelor's degree programmes in Specialised Translation, Applied Mathematics, and Sustainiable Energy Systemes as well as the Master's programmes in Specialised Translation & Media Translation, Trade Journalism & Corporate Communication, and Applied Mathematics & Physics.

The Faculty also offers the general mandatory elective modules, which include not only the fields already mentioned but also foreign languages, history and social sciences, religious education, psychology, economics, law and art.

The Faculty maintains various labs to support teaching and the creation of seminar papers, and Bachelor’s, Master’s and diploma theses (in consultation with the involved degree programmes).
